Bringing East Asia to Arkansas Classrooms
Arkansas NCTA connects educators across the state with expert resources, professional development, and classroom materials to enhance teaching about East Asia.
Our Mission
Founded in 1998, the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia (NCTA) is an initiative to encourage and facilitate teaching and learning about East Asia in elementary and secondary schools across the United States. For over 10 years, the Arkansas NCTA (ARNCTA) has joined this national network of institutions with the goal of providing on-site seminars, teacher resources, and travel funding that empowers Arkansas teachers to bring East Asia into their classrooms.

Resources
If you are an educator teaching about East Asia, our resource guides are designed for you. The linked websites offer informative primary sources, organized curriculums, exhaustive resource collections, and other classroom materials aimed at bringing East Asia and Asian America into the classroom.
