"Teaching China in the Age of Covid-19": A New Online Workshop Series

ARNCTA proudly presents: "Teaching China in the Age of Covid-19." A four-part online workshop that will bring together leading experts on Asia from around the country to provide context on the origins of Covid-19, the response to the virus, its impact on Asian-American communities, and the future of U.S. – China relations. Participating Arkansas teachers receive benefits, including a $50 dollar stipend, up to 5 hours of Continuing Education Credit, eligibility to apply for NCTA Travel Funding, and valuable classroom resources to implement into their curriculum. Professional Development Workshop in Plumerville, Arkansas

A new Professional Development workshop is coming to Plumerville, Arkansas on July 27th, 2020! Sponsored by ARNCTA, this workshop explores prints, film, propaganda posters, and video games as vital tools for understanding East Asia's past and present. Lunch and snacks will be provided. By participating in this workshop, you will receive 6 hours of Continuing Education Credit and $100+ in classroom materials.

Book Donation Made to Simon Intermediate

Earlier this month, Ms. Angel Moix at Simon Intermediate School in Conway received a load of additional books she requested for her classroom library that focused on Asia and Asian Americans from the Arkansas NCTA.
