Come join us for a workshop devoted to locating and using primary sources in the classroom to teach Chinese history. The sources, with a focus on Modern China, will range from written texts to material culture to emphasize how the incorporation of sources can aid in students learning beyond the textbook.
While we may not be able to take the students to China, we can bring China to our students using primary sources.
