For Arkansas teachers and educators that are looking for PD credit during the summer of 2018, Dr. Crutcher will be at Mills, Arch Ford, DeQueen-Mena, Southwest, and Southeast educational co-ops for the free "Death Note, Confucianism, and Kim Jong Un: Applying Information about Asia in K-12 Curricula" PD with lots of goodies and take-aways.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the NCTA, there is a call for "teacher resource essays" to be included in several future issues of the AAS publication, Education about Asia (EAA). The theme centers on the question, "What do we need to know about Asia?"

The Arkansas NCTA (National Consortium for Teaching about Asia) supports Arkansas educators learning about Asia by traveling to Asia. Research shows that some of the richest teaching experiences are when we can tap our own lived experiences. We're therefore happy to announce the 2018 Arkansas NCTA study tour fellowship.
